Brian's Background
For the past 40 years, Brian Florence has devoted the majority of his professional career to family problems and disputes. For the first 30 years he advocated the legal and factual positions of moms, dads and children in court. He managed several thousand divorces and conducted hundreds of trials. During that time he was listed in Best Lawyers in America and Utah's Legal Elite.
Since 1998, Brian has exclusively devoted his professional efforts to help families resolve their disputes out of court, by using mediation, arbitration, collaboration or special master processes. He has participated in the training of hundreds of aspiring mediators. He is a member of numerous alternate dispute resolution organizations, locally and nationally. He has conducted over 3,000 mediations, mostly dealing with family disputes. He is one of only a handful of trained and insured special masters in Utah. He is still listed in Best Lawyers in America and Utah's Legal Elite, but now in the mediation/arbitration categories.
